Peter Semianiw – Director – BE (Civil), MIE Aust, RPEng, RPEQ

Peter brings to projects significant experience in water and wastewater design and project management. He has over 40 years’ experience in the planning, design and management of water supply and sewerage systems. Peter has extensive experience in water resource investigation, design and design reviews, construction and supervision, contract administration and project commissioning of all aspects of water supply and wastewater systems. Peter has specialist expertise in the complex area of transient (waterhammer) analysis.

Andrew Sinn – Senior Engineer – B.Eng (Civil)

Andrew has over 30 years water sector experience delivering major water infrastructure projects, particularly in regional Victoria. Specialising in pipelines and pumping stations, Andrew has worked on key projects including the Wimmera Mallee Pipeline Project, Northern Mallee Pipeline Project, Victorian Desalination Transfer Pipeline and other water main replacements with Melbourne Water. Andrew held management positions with Grampians Wimmera Mallee Water for 5 years and was Chief Engineer with Sunraysia Rural Water Authority for 10 years. Andrew spent 3 years with Comdain Constructions as Pipelines Project Manager on the Goulburn Murray Water Connections Project and 5 years with Armstrong Constructions working on large diameter pipelines in Melbourne. Andrew has a mixture of both construction and hydraulic Pump Station control and design experience and brings a practical and informed approach to his work.

Michael Maries – Senior Engineer – BCivEng(Hons), MIE Aust, PEng

Michael is an expert in modelling and GIS, having researched and developed 1, 2 and 3 dimensional hydrodynamic models for universities and engineering firms in Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. Michael commands the skills and aptitude required to quickly build and analyze a reliable and stable model from the ground up, solving problems as they arise. His attention to detail and organised nature have been vital to his management of document control and change management, and his professional communication skills make correspondence and stakeholder management simple. Michael will be able to provide solutions, whatever your engineering, GIS, modelling or management requirements may be.

Adrian Keats – Principal Consultant – BE (Civil), MSc

Adrian has over 40 years professional experience, and over the past 15 years, he has acted as a Principal Consultant with Merindol Hall, a consultancy that he established. With Merindol Hall he has provided management advisory services to the water industry in Australia and internationally, as well as the Victorian State Government on strategic planning, policy development, contract and project management and organisational change.

Prior to establishing Merindol Hall, Adrian’s career included Senior Water Engineer, Water Supply, Barwon Water, Water Engineering Consultant with Hyder Australia, Professional Services Manager at Intergraph Australia, Manager Information Systems at City of Greater Geelong, and Systems Analyst and Strategic Planning Engineer at Barwon Water.

Frank Hall – Principal Consultant – Dip Eng. (Civil), Grad Dip Water Eng., MIEAust

Frank has 41 years’ experience in the design, documentation and supervision of water retaining storages including reinforced and pre-stressed concrete tanks, steel tanks and standpipes, earthen embankments, supply pipelines, pumping stations and water treatment plants, including all required mechanical and control instrumentation works. Frank has experience in heavy civil design associated with power stations, bridges, tunnels, industrial buildings and general structures including several international projects. Structural design has included assessment of earthquake impacts on large infrastructure.

Peter Cameron – Senior Engineer – Dip Eng. (Civil), MIE Aust and EWS

Peter has over 40 years of experience in a broad range of civil engineering projects within the water industry and local government sectors. In particular, he has extensive experience in water supply and wastewater engineering, structural engineering, environmental engineering, road and street works, waterway management and contract management. Peter has worked as the primary consultant to a number of water sector authorities in Western Victoria, and during this time was responsible for the operation, maintenance and strategic planning functions for 12 town water supply schemes and two sewerage schemes. He has extensive experience in earthworks; having project managed the construction of water storages, wastewater lagoons, evaporation basins, open drainage channels, roadworks and quarry rehabilitation. Over the period from 2011 to 2016 Peter worked at Golden Plains Shire as Works Manager. During this tenure Peter was responsible for the capital works programs, and annual operation and maintenance programs totalling over $m100 across sectors of roads and streets, drainage, recreational infrastructure and municipal buildings. Throughout his career Peter has guided the development and authored a multitude of technical documents and reports.

Shane McKenzie – Project Manager

Shane has over 30 years involvement in the operations of the water supply and wastewater management industry. He has significant experience in water resource investigations, especially in the field of data collection, analysis and dissemination. He is experienced in Project Management skills in relation to the oversight, preparation and finalization of pipeline detailed design plans. He has shown an ability to successfully perform construction, supervision, administration and project management tasks within a variety of water supply and wastewater sub-systems. Areas of expertise also include financial and budgetary skills, possesses well-developed inter-personal skills and a high level of computer literacy.

Kalle Semianiw – Company Secretary / Account Manager

Kalle has held the role of company secretary and account manager for 18 years. She holds a diploma of education and has 30 years experience in teaching.

Kim Barcelon – Administration

Kim works closely with the engineering and project teams in the production of detailed designs and in document control and general administration, and has had 18 years experience in this role. Kim holds an MBA, a bachelor of science and business accounting as well as a certificate III in business administration.
